Due to continued growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to join an established and successful MSP.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide 1st and 2nd line support to our SMB clients across the Worcestershire area, primarily over the phone and by using remote access tools, or attending on site visits where required.

This is an excellent opportunity for anybody with Helpdesk/1^st line experience to take the step up into 2^nd line support, enabling you to progress and enhance your current skill set.

Requirements and Experience

Technical support via telephone/email/remote tools and on site visits
Microsoft Desktop Support – Windows 10/11
Microsoft Server Support – Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
Core Microsoft Infrastructure Skills – AD/DNS/DHCP/RDP/HYPERV/IIS
Microsoft Office Software Support – 2016/2019/2021
Microsoft Office 365 Tenant Management
Basic Networking, Firewall and Routing Skills
Anti Virus/Spam Threat Management and Monitoring

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide an excellent level of customer service to external clients
Respond to technical support requests in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of 1st time fix rates
Provide remote and on site support, adhering to SLA’s
Install and upgrade Hardware, Software and Periphials
Use initiative and take ownership of problems and proactively resolve incidents
Responsible for ensuring all actions related to using the Companies facilities, networks, systems and services adhere to the principles & requirements of the Companies Information Security Policy
